We are a Scout Group in Huntingdonshire, and are keen for both adults and children to make the most of what Scouting has to offer.

Warboys Scouts needs you       NOW

The scouts section now has 14 scouts (upto24 end of Sept) and the assistant scout leader needs others to become leaders as a part of this up and growing part of Warboys future in scouting, if you only feel that you can offer the youth of today a guiding hand in their future then come along and have ago. the age group that would be involved  with are 10 - 14 years

if you feel you could take on this role as a leader no matter your age (14 to18 years can become young leaders) then make contact, you will become fully trained and you do not necessary need to camp, as others are willing to.

SCOUTS ARE TO CELEBRATE
100 YEARS OF SCOUTING IN 2007

SO DONT MISS OUT

Whether you are 6 or 60 there is bound to be something you can get involved in. Every week around 60 children from local villages take part in Section meetings, term time only.

If you want a nice peaceful, relaxing hobby and don't like anything energetic then we have to say Scouting probably isn't for you :-) If, however, you want to get the most out of life then get in touch!

In an average year our members might take part in any of the following:

Abseiling, archery, wide games, football, camping (from 1 night to 2 weeks), cooking, Survival Skills, treasure hunts, sausage sizzles, sleepovers, kayaking, rock climbing, orienteering, problem solving, computing, fund raising, emergency aid, cycling, swimming, night hikes, incident bases, visits growing things, helping others, camp fires, singing, sailing, having fun.................

Ok - if that doesn't sound like you're kind of thing then I guess you won't be joining us! If it does sound like fun then why not get in touch? After all, nearly 1/2 million in this country do scouting including Peter Duncan (from Blue Peter) new chief scout, 28 million Scouts around the world seem to think it's great :-) and scouting is now in very country except for 3

If you wish to get involved in scouting in someway please contact by clicking on the link
