Explorer Scouts

Explorer Scouts are young people, usually aged between 14 and 18 years old. Our local Explorer Unit covers the whole of Cromwell District, and is based at the Copley Centre in St Ives.

If you are already in our Scout Troop then sometime in the 3-6 months before your 14th birthday you and your parent(s) / carer(s) should start to receive information about Cromwell Explorers and an invitation to go and see what they do.

Our Scout Troop regularly takes part in events and activities that means our Scouts probably know some of the Explorers already, especially the ones who used to go to our Troop.

There is also the opportunity to apply to become a Young Leader with a Colony, Pack or Troop.
